the Poppy Appeal in a variety of ways. Below is a
selection of 2010 Poppy Appeal corporate
activity.
Hovis

Look out for specially marked packs of Hovis Seed Sensations
bread or rolls during October and November. For each pack sold, a
donation will be made to the Poppy Appeal.
Poppy Bond
Developed with the Coventry Building Society, the Poppy
Bond has proved to be a great success over the last 2
years, generating £3.8m for the Legion. It's a great way to
help the Legion while receiving a great rate of interest on your
savings. Latest offer is now closed.
Red Lion Foods
Red Lion Foods work with a number of supplier
partners to produce a range of good quality, great tasting food at
affordable prices. Products include basics such as breads,
cooked meats and tinned foods, to sauces and soups, are available
in leading food retailers across the UK. 100% of their
post tax profits are used to help UK Forces' charities and causes,

McCarthy & Stone
McCarthy & Stone, the UK market leader in
retirement living, will run a £10 visitor incentive scheme from the
15 October to 30 November. For every person that visits a
McCarthy & Stone site the company will make a donation of
£10.00 to the Poppy Appeal.
The Telegraph - Free DVD Collection
The Telegraph is giving away a free DVD collection -
The Century of Warfare. The most comprehensive visual history of
war ever compiled, with 26 hours of footage charting the conflicts
that have shaped the last 100 years - from both World Wars to
the Gulf conflict and narrated by Robert Powell.
Your first two DVDs are FREE inside the Telegraph on 6-7 November
and the collection continues from Monday, 8
November, with five more DVDs to pick up at WHSmith high
street stores, only with the Telegraph.
WHSmith
During the Poppy Appeal WHSmith will run a promotion over
a range of 12 military history titles. For every promotional book
sold WHSmith will give a £1.00 donation to the Poppy
Appeal. Books will be featured in free standing units and
stickered with a promotional message.
Wiltshire Farm Foods
A nationwide UK company delivering freshly frozen ready
meals direct to customer's doors, Wiltshire Farm Foods offer a
choice of over 175 prepared frozen meals and desserts. During the
months of October and November they have created a special 'poppy
pack' and will make a £1.00 donation for every meal sold
during that period.
Liberation Ale
Brewed by Daniel Thwaites, this premium bottled ale can
be found nationally in Morrisons and Majestics and for every
bottle sold in the run up to Remembrance Day on 11 November, a
donation will come directly to the Legion.
Forces Discount Directory
Managed by the MOD, the Directory has agreed that The
Royal British Legion is the only charity to be promoted as a
partner organisation along side the logos of the three Armed Forces
Services. Legion members will benefit from all the specially
