Each year many companies show their support for
the Poppy Appeal in a variety of ways. Below is a
selection of 2011 Poppy Appeal corporate
activity.
Hovis

Specially marked packs of Hovis Seed Sensations bread
were available between 17 October and 13 November. For each
pack sold, a 4p donation was made to the Poppy Appeal. www.hovisbakery.co.uk
Marks and Spencer
This year Marks and Spencer did even more
to support The Royal British Legion. Together with in store poppy
collections, the high street chain launched Poppy Umbrellas
with 10% of every sale being donated to the Poppy Appeal. The two
designs were available in all stores (except Simply Food) for
£7.50.
Lyons Coffee
From November,
look out for the newly branded Lyons Coffee range in stores. There
are 3 great new flavours for all occasions - Good Morning (Bright
Breakfast Coffee), Coffee Break (Smooth All-Day Coffee) and Gourmet
Italian (Rich Evening Coffee).
Lyons are hoping to raise £70,000 for the Poppy Appeal this year
through coffee sales and a range of other fundraising activities.

Chamilia
Their exclusively designed sterling silver
and enamel 'Blooming Poppy' bead priced at £36.00 is
available from H Samuel, Ernest Jones and independent
jewellers and can be worn alone or together with other beads on a
bracelet, necklace or earrings. Chamilia will make a
donation of 10% of all net sales to the Legion and are engaging
their employees, partners and suppliers to take part in fundraising

Bulldog
Bulldog, the UK's largest natural skincare brand for
men, is launching their first ever limited edition Moisturiser pack
in support of this year's Poppy Appeal. For each Bulldog pack sold
displaying the iconic Red Poppy, the award-winning British brand
will donate 25p to The Royal British Legion. These special packs
hit the shelves nationwide from October.
Poppy
Online Saver and Poppy Bonds
Coventry Building Society offer special Poppy online saving
accounts and Poppy fixed rate bonds during the Poppy Appeal
and Remembrance period. This has proved to be a great
success, allowing Coventry to donate £5m for the work of the
Legion. It's a great way to help the Legion while receiving a great

Red Lion Foods
Red Lion
Foods work with a number of supplier partners to produce a range of
good quality, great tasting food at affordable prices. Products
include basics such as breads, cooked meats and tinned foods,
to sauces and soups, are available in leading food retailers across
the UK. 100% of their post tax profits are used to help
UK Forces' charities and causes, including The Royal British

Wiltshire Farm Foods
A nationwide UK company delivering freshly frozen ready
meals direct to customer's doors, Wiltshire Farm Foods offer a
choice of over 175 prepared frozen meals and desserts. During
Autumn 2011 they offered a special three-course 'Poppy Day
Menu Pack' for £29.95. It included a free Legion mug

Liberation Ale
Liberation Ale was developed a number
of years ago by Daniel Thwaites Brewery to commemorate the
role that veterans played in fighting for freedom during World War
II.
This premium ale can now be found on draught throughout the country
and Thwaites is contributing £10 a barrel (approx 4p a pint)
towards the Legion.
Forces Discount Directory
Managed by the MOD, the Directory has agreed that The
Royal British Legion is the only charity to be promoted as a
partner organisation along side the logos of the three Armed Forces
Services. Legion members will benefit from all the specially
